Courses Lectures & Workshops Special Event

In the next Ask and Expert Q&A, NHSM’s invertebrate curator and BCCC instructor, Fred Paraskevoudakis, will discuss how sea shells are made and why, what sea shells are most common in the Mid-Atlantic, and what role sea shells play in our environment. Dust off those shells you may have lying about, or that you just collected at a safe social distance – of course – for some impromptu shell ID and more.

The suggested donation for this event is $5. NHSM understands that the pandemic has adversely impacted many. It shouldn’t impact access to education. Therefore, a free option is also available.
