Rick Stanley is a retired lawyer who has been involved with the Natural History Society of Maryland since 1970. He currently serves as the Board Chairman. He was the former USARK General Counsel, helped to organized Chesapeake Terrapin Alliance to legislatively protect MD’s diamondback terrapin, and has worked with Tim Hoen and many other NHSM Herp Society members to legalize breeding turtles in MD.
