Jerusalem Mill is a nearly intact mill from the 1770s located in Kingsville, MD. We’ll take a 2-hour walking tour of the mill and surrounding village, including the miller’s house, the Lee mansion, the blacksmith shop, general store, and covered bridge. Afterwards, feel free to stick around for the living history program beginning at 1:00 PM. In addition, there is currently an open archaeological excavation on site, which the Arch Club has been invited to see before it’s covered up.
You must be a current member of the Archaeology Club to register for this tour. The tour is free, but donations are encouraged, as Historic Jerusalem Mill is a non-profit run by volunteers (just like NHSM).
Accessibility Information: This site is not wheelchair accessible. There are stairs, and one small area requires bending a little.
