What Your Donation Will Do
Your donation helps in so many ways. It supports the care and conservation of our collections and gives us the ability to accept new ones. It supports research and the development of our exhibit space. And most importantly, it allows us to offer a variety of year-round educational programs, such as:
- Nature Connections: Free, family-friendly, Sunday afternoon programs on subjects such as Beetles, Skulls & Teeth, Vernal Pools, and the Forest Floor.
- Clubs: Specialty themed clubs on Lepidoptera (butterflies and moths), Fossils, Archaeology, and Herpetology (reptiles and amphibians).
- On-going Series: Monthly programs such as What’s this plant? and Moss Workshop.
- Courses: In-depth courses on subjects such as archeology, botany, geology, weather, and mammals.
- Field Trips: Expert-led outdoor programs exploring fossils, spring wildflowers, wild edibles, vernal pools, and more.
- Lectures: Name a field in natural history and we’ve had an expert talk about it.
Because of you, our educational programs continue to grow year after year. Thank you for your generous support!
